Main Duties and Responsibilities
- The role of the Information Governance Consultants is to support the Head of the Risk Management Information Governance in the development of businesses’ Information Governance Frameworks, ensuring that any action plans, policies and procedures are fully implemented. The nature of the role demands that highly complex and contentious, statutory and regulatory requirements are implemented across industries.
- Information governance is about the policies, processes, systems, and people that make sure an organization’s information is useful, accurate, accessible and safe.
- Assist in developing, documenting and implementing information governance programs that reduce corporate risk, ensure data privacy, enable faster and deeper insight into data and improve the e-discovery process.
- Design, build and run clients’ data privacy risk management capabilities.
- Deliver custom solutions no matter what the company’s data environment or risk profile.
- Help each organization better define, implement and operationalise data privacy programs.
- Leading critical compliance data governance programs for multinational companies.
- Guide global companies through Microsoft 365 Governance and Deployment.
- Develop, implement and document tailored information governance programmes that reduce corporate risk, secure data and enable deeper insight into data and improve the e-discovery process.
Skills and qualifications
- CISA, CISM, CISSP, GIAC, SSCP, Lead Auditor, CISMP, CAP, Ethical Hacker, ISACA
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
- 3 + years of experience in corporate of banking services or similar fields.
- Attention to details.
- Sound understanding of best practices processes and applicable regulations.
Salary range
- R750 000 – R1 860 000 per year (Johannesburg
