MCTG Consulting would be nowhere without its successful sales team. We’re seeking a qualified sales
representatives to help sell the products and services that our customers rely on. The sales representatives will have
a strong understanding of the sales process and excel at generating leads, building relationships, and closing deals
The ideal candidates will be quick learners who have strong negotiation skills and an ability to showcase our
offerings in a compelling way. Often tasked with giving presentations and attending networking events and trade
shows, the sales representatives must be both personable and professional.
Objectives of this role
- Represent the company’s products and services, using consumer research as well as a deep and comprehensive knowledge of how our solutions meet the needs of customers.
- Achieve weekly, monthly, and annual sales targets/quotas by successfully implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics.
- Generate leads and build relationships by organizing daily work schedule to call on potential and existing customers.
- Develop and implement territorial action plan using comprehensive data analysis, and adjust sales techniques according to interactions and results in the field.
Responsibilities
- Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to prospective and existing customers.
- Maintain working relationships potential and existing customers to ensure that they receive exceptional service and to identify potential new sales opportunities.
- Report to the Sales Manager
- Reach out to customer leads through in coordination Marketing team and trough cold calling.
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
- Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
- Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of potential/existing customers to meet their needs.
- Interacts directly with customers throughout all phases of the sales process.
- Identifying customer’s needs, pitching relevant products or services, and ensuring they have a positive experience from start to finish.
- Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage sales cycle to close new business in all service categories.
- Possess in-depth product knowledge and be able to conduct demos and handle objections.
- Prepare concise and accurate reports, proposals, booking product presentation meetings, and other required documentation for executive-level presentations.
- Achieve sales identifying new client needs (including current clients) and following a defined selling process with potential buyers, often including product demos and presentations.
- Coordinate with other sales representatives and other teams to ensure that quotas/targets are being met and company standards are being upheld.
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status reports.
- Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends.
- Provide sales reports to senior management, weekly, monthly and annually.
- Continuously improve through feedback
Required skills and qualifications
- Three or more years of sales experience within a similar industry or relevant field.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with sales management software and CRM.
- Strong ability to balance persuasion with professionalism.

- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Proven success rate at levels above sales quota/targets.
- Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.

- Ability to travel at least 25% of the time to customer events and meetings, where necessary.
Salary ranges
- R850 000 – R1 350 000 per year depending on experience, skills and qualifications.
