We are actively seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join our team. As a Financial Accountant, you will be responsible for monitoring all financial data, preparing
accurate statements and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.
Your role will encompass budgeting, managing tax payments, performing internal audits, and providing consultancy to senior managers for cost and revenue analyses.
By meticulously managing our financial records and supporting investment decisions, you will play a vital role in our company’s success.
Responsibilities
- Gathers and monitors financial data (e.g. sales revenues and liabilities).
- Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements).
- Forecasts costs and revenues.
- Manages tax payments.
- Organizes internal audits.
- Prepares budgets (for the entire company and by department).
- Monitors and reports on accounting discrepancies.
- Conduct detailed risk analyses to assess potential investments.
- Analyzes financial trends.
- Performs month-end and year-end close processes.
- Provides budgetary support role to management and other teams, including sales, marketing and various projects.
Requirements and Skills
- Proven work experience as a Financial Accountant or similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software.
- In-depth understanding of business bookkeeping procedures.
- Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
- Excellent math skills with an attention to detail.

- Five years’ experience in financial accounting, or related field.
- BCom degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Additional certificate (e.g. CPA) is a plus.
Salary range
- Intermediate: (1) R250,200 to R520,000
- Senior/Manager (1): R850,300 to R1,350,200
