3. Audited financial statements: R800 – R3500 per hour. R3500 – R50 000 per project depending on company size, project’s complexity, skills and experience of accountant.
4. B-BBEE Affidavit (Levels 1,2, 4) – Level 3 (110%) and 4 (100% Level) – 2 business days – R420 
5. COID registration – 3-4 days – R2300 – Department of Labour
6. Tax Clearance Certificate – 5-10 days – R550 – SARS 
7. PAYE/UIF Registration – R1500 – SARS/Department of Labour

What do I need before I can apply for a Credit Provider licence?

Financial Services Provider (FSP) registration – R5100,00 – To get an FSP license in South Africa, you must meet the “fit and proper” criteria set by the FSCA, which includes appointing a competent Key Individual, appointing a compliance officer, and demonstrating financial soundness. Securing a Financial service Provider (“FSP”) license is essential for businesses that wish to offer financial services legally. Governed by the Financial Sector Conduct Authority (“FSCA”), the licensing processes can be complex, requiring specific documentation and a keen understanding of regulatory requirements.
